LADIES BIBLE STUDY 

WHEN:  Every other Wednesday from 1–3 p.m. in the spring and in the fall

WHERE: at the home of Carla & Mike Krucelyak, Punxsutawney

We will begin our fall study of the Gospel of John on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

Muddling Through” (click on link to read) 

The CLARION ASSOCIATION PROJECT for 2018:  HOFFMAN HOMES FOR YOUTH, a not-for-profit residential treatment facility in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, providing comprehensive psychiatric care, treatment, and education  to emotionally and behaviorally troubled children.St. Peter’s will gather school supplies and supplies for art therapy for the Hoffman Academy. Click here to visit the Hoffman Homes for Youth webpage for more detailed information.

Each month the testimony of a young person whose life was changed by Hoffman Homes for Youth will be posted on our ministry page. Click here to read STORIES OF HOPE.

ODDS & ENDS

MAKING A DIFFERENCE: The proceeds from our 2017 indoor yard sale and bake sale were donated to the Clean ‘n’ Gleam ministry, which has been operating since April 2009, and the Care Committee. Thank you to all who donated your stuff, worked, baked, set up, cleaned up, and purchased stuff.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry (Samaritan’s Purse) was the 2017 Mission Project for the Clarion Association UCC, of which St. Peter’s UCC is a member. Twenty-six shoeboxes were assembled from St. Peter’s!

CONGRATULATIONS to JILL MARIE, who was elected president of the Clarion Association of the Penn West Conference of the United Church of Christ.
